Based on two of our most popular style Trimming Hammers, our Carbide Trimming Hammers offer maximum wearability with carbide on each working edge of the hammer. To accomodate different stone trimming techniques, each hammer style is available in either vertical or horizontal orientations. When the edges eventually dull, turn it over on the handle for 2 more fresh edges. It works equally well for right or left hand use. Resharpening is easy on small grinders with 6in or 8in diameter silicon carbide wheels.

Trow and Holden 4lb ULTIMATE MASH HAMMER
With a heavy-duty carbide blade and carbide on both edges of its concave trimming face, the Ultimate Mash Hammer is the most wear resistant Trow & Holden stonecutting hammer. This hammer will split and trim the hardest types of stone and require less regrinding than traditional steel stonemason’s hammers.
When the working edges of the carbide begins to show wear, the concave trimming face can be easily dressed with the same 6in or 8in silicon-carbide grinding wheel used to grind the blade.
